What are best ways to promote own affiliate program?

What are some of the ways you would promote your affiliate program.
I have an affiliate program that pays out up to 5% selling non digital goods.
How would i go about acquiring affiliates?
For example facebook ppc, google ppc, forums, banner ads on sites like this one.
What do you guys suggest?

Write a WSO with title "How I Make 6 Figures Promoting KEYWORD" then make up some crap in the standard warrior style, should hook many and also you gain a dollar for each quality eBook.

Or maybe find all the affil forums in your niche and go get active

Good question. I suggest google ppc, SEO, banner ads, posts on blogs, forums, directories. Make a good reputation of your affiliate program.

I suggest to give them 50 % not 5

50% is very unrealistic on 30% profit margin goods, not counting warehouse and other related costs.
