What are backbone proxies?

Guys,

Can anyone explain me what are "backbone proxies", I searched online, read some answers but yet, couldn't understand that right. If anyone can simplify it in few words/lines I will be so grateful.

A backbone proxy is a server that is responsible for routing internet traffic through a network. It creates a virtual private network (VPN) that allows users to access remote networks that are not accessible via the public internet. The backbone proxy allows an organization to keep its private network secure while allowing external access to certain services that are necessary for its core business operations.

Back Bone or did he mean Back Connect ?

Back Bone sir, but I'm wondering what Back Connect means, since I see that a lot lately and have no clue what it means!

Basically, Back Connect proxies are proxy servers that uses a pool of Residential IPs or Real-Peer IPs, meaning they are assigned from an ISP to a user. Residential IPs have all the characteristics of a real device in the country, city, ISP or even ASN required. Let's say, a Back Connect proxy is from T-Mobile, then you can expect the IPs you get to say T-Mobile on your IP checker. Depending on what you need, this may prove beneficial.
