You want as many backlinks in relative niches to your own website as you can get.
So links on any website are backlinks. My website link is posted in forums. My website brings visitors to forums.

The link to external sites is backlink ,backlinks can have a positive effect on a site's ranking position or search visibility.
That what I said. When people come to forums to read my website, more visitors, high rankings ?

backlinks are the vote of website. if you have many much backlinks your website rank first on google.

There are two types of links – D0Follow and NoFollow.
The D0Follow backlink tag (also known as “Follow”) is the original tag that passes value (link juice) between web pages.
D0Follow Backlink Example:

With the NoFollow tag, things are slightly different. To understand better, imagine you are writing a news article for a big media outlet. Often, it happens so that you have to link to smaller pages that you don’t necessarily trust or recommend. In these cases, using the NoFollow tag is an excellent option because it tells Google that you point to a website but do NOT necessarily recommend or trust it.

There are many many rt.com, bbc.com, youtube links etc.. on my website but my website does not appear in Google.

sir, you have to write unique content , blog posting , blog commenting , submit your site to external websites

well ... A backlink is a hyperlink pointing to a page on your site , backlink is a scenario where one page on the internet references a page on your website and includes a clickable link to access that page.

Backlinks are links pointing to your site. Every link that can fetch you some traffic is considered a backlink. But social platforms (like facebook, twitter, instagram, pinterest etc) and some websites don't let link juice to pass, so they use nofollow tag. This makes search engines to ignore the link, but users can click on it to visit target website. You need to have a strategy to build backlinks.
I have done everything. I am getting some 50 unique visitors everyday from my internet postings only. There is no other source of traffic to my website.
Have a look at my website for the backlinks. My computer knowledge is less.

Look into SEO. There is lots of info on BHW. The backlinks that "help" you rank on Google are ones pointing at your site from higher DA sites, not links that you have on your site pointing at other sites.
