Hey! I am using avira. Its good n free. Everything works fine. The only drawback is that it opens a pop up once in every 2-3 hrs to prod you to uby their paid version. But the free part is good enough.

Ubuntu lol . I got sick of getting infected with trojans and shit so I switched to ubuntu.

AVG, free, haven't got a virus in years now.
However, the daily scan is too slow with all my files.

Kaspersky Is my anti-virus of choice. I've never had any issues with it.

I recommend you to use Kaspersky. Easy to install, and tough for any viruses.

andf I agree that the daily scan is slow as hell

It does it's job and I am smart enough to not click .exe files

Vista doesn't need to dummy prompt me

Jesus, we already have like 5 of these anti-virus threads on this forum. There's at least 1 on every forum on the Internet it seems, and they'll go on forever because everyone likes to defend the anti-virus program they use... Just take your pick from the top 5 and you'll be OK.

1) Kaspersky
2) Eset NOD32
3) BitDefender
4) AVG (free)
5) Avast! (free)

And if you're ever in doubt, or if you're just paranoid like me, then upload the file to www.jotti.org, where it will be scanned by 20 of the best anti-virus programs for FREE. Or, better yet, avoid all the hassle and just install linux
