My favourite is Death Note. I love media with intelligent characters; especially intelligent main characters. My favourite genres / themes are psychological, thriller, game, gambling, survival, battle royale, and team versus team. Code Geass, Classroom of the Elite, Terror in Resonance, Kakegurui, Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor, Migi and Dali, Battle Game in Five Seconds, Tomodachi Game, No Game No Life, Inazuma Eleven, Yugioh Zexal, Darwin's Game, Future Diary, Btooom, Monster, Bakugan: Battle Brawlers, Beyblade, Beyblade: G-Revolution, The Beyblade Metal Saga, Beyblade Burst, Beyblade Burst Turbo, After School Dice Club, Riddle Story of Devil, The Promised Neverland (first season; second is terrible).
I also like Charlotte, A Silent Voice, Sing Yesterday For me, Toradora, Bloom Into You, This Art Club Has a Problem, Chivalry of a Failed Knight, and many more.
Right now, I am watching Infinite Stratos.

I watch a mix of action, fantasy, and slice-of-life anime depending on my mood. I usually stream everything through the HiAnime site to watch anime legally because it’s easy to find new series and keep track of what I’m watching

The first anime I ever watched was about fifteen years ago, Claymore. I remember it was on a disc, and I'd put it in my PC, go to a place that sold movie discs, and buy the episodes. Then it was Death Note, and well, from there on, many more.
One I could recommend is Ippo Makunouchi; it's pretty good, it's about boxing and stuff like that. It's a pretty old series, but I loved it a lot.
I haven't seen One Piece because it's too long; I don't like endless series, haha. You'd need this lifetime and part of the next to watch it all!

Naruto and Bleach, sadly I can't complete the trifecta of animes. I can't make myself like One Piece, I'm too distracted by the drawing/animation style, I don't like it

Anime pacing shit i would recommend you attack on titan greatest anime of all time. followed by my personal favourites vinland saga.
