What Anchor Text Mix To Use After Penguin

Hi Everyone,
I have been reading many peoples opinions on the Penguin update and what is needed now.
Basically from what I can gather it seems to be a wider mix of links and not from all the same sources.
But for instance submitting with the likes of SEnuke, AMR etc what ratio should I use the main target keyword to the anchor text alternatives in the submissions?
Also is it really worth mixing up the actual urls for instance to actually include the www or not etc

nobody will tell you the truth, but I would suggest you to for the new site to start with natural links first, such as: url, here, click here, brand name and etc. After do LSI keywords and your main keyword with additional words (I mean if you keyword is best laptops, you should use buy best laptops or best laptops on this website as your anchor) and after you can use your main keywords.

so it should be like that:
main keywords - about 30%
lsi keywords - 20-30%
natural links - 40-50%

that what is working for me after the latest update
 
This is what i have been following,others may disagree:

If the site is new:
25%-natural anchors which include soemthing like:
visit this site
Click here
Authors website
raw url without http:// and / at the back.
Amanda john/some other name
Posters site
www

50% actual keywords.

25% related keywords:
for example say your keyword is travel insurance comparison
then 25% wud include
travel insurance
travel insurance reviews
travel insurance providers
best travel insurance

@Master-X - No offense bub, but you've been a member of BHW for all of 10 minutes and you are coming out with a statement that no one will tell you the truth? So are to we assume that you just lied to the OP?

I think that you should re-evaluate that statement. Short of giving their actual niches and site URLs I have found the members here to be the best at giving out exactly what they have found since they know that there is enough money for all of us to earn quite a bit of.

@Wanabee2 - personally I use a 33/33/33 approach. 33% are my main keywords, 33% are related keywords and 33% are 'click here' and URL anchors.
 
@OldSalt Thanks, good points, I have used the 33% method before and it seems to work. Just wondered if there was something I had been missing. Thanks again
 
Keep main keywords less than 25%.More than that algo tries to make sense of link through text around anchors.So,put LSI Kw/Kws around the anchor too.

you got me wrong, mate. I don't mind to share what works for me, but who knows the truth how google algo exactly works and what is the best anchor diversity. Everybody has their own opinion and you need to experiment yourself to find out what works for you best.
 
I know this is painful, but the following has worked for a busines site post Penguin without a blip:
  • 25% keyphrase anchor text links
  • 75% Other kinds of links particularly brand name ones.

The site had 600 links acquired within one day and I was worried about Penguin after it launched. So far, no problems, because the remaining 75% of links are of all kinds - Click here, here, www.example.com, website, brand name, etc etc. I am seeing agreement in many quarters that branded links should be in the majority.
 
Its really a great idea for new bloggers like me.as i wasnt aware that penguin update will have effect on anchor text. great idea thanks a lot
 
Not to over-optimise your backlink anchors over 25-30%. Stay in that lane to be safe
 
25 percent or less of your exact match keyword. Mix the other 75 percent up.

Also, other than LSI mixing, it also doesn't hurt to just pick a random word or phrase from your page and use that as an anchor
 
60% branded anchor text
10% URL anchor text
15% phrase anchor text
10% junk anchor text (click here etc)
5% exact match anchor text
