What am i missing on Elance for Ebay sellers?

Hi,

I looked at Elance yesterday first time in many months. and I saw a huge amount of posts for "jobs" to sell on Ebay......

Hmmm....now call me a cynic..but why do they need other people to post on Ebay?

I see many charge $30 to bid on the project and have about 30+ "bids.." Is this their way of making money? Something else?

Are they all some kind of scam? Some legit? Who can you tell me what I can't quite figure out?
