What am I missing here?

Hey guys. So...I'll make this as short as possible. I started my journey in January. I got FL and have been using that since. On my main account I follow about 750 per day, and I'm up to 7K followers. I think that's eh, since I started in January and I feel like I should have more. FL follows account's followers in similar niches. I gain about 70 followers a day. (eh) I feel like I should have more there as well.

For likes, I get about 100 likes per picture with about 10 comments each picture (eh again). My content is great, it's mostly videos. It's all definitely good quality (I think so).

And lastly, every 2 weeks I'll spend 35 dollars for an hour and half shoutout from an account in my niche that has about 500k followers. Before you guys tear my head off, I know that's probably not the wisest decision and probably not worth it. I'm starting to realize that now. Besides that, I'll probably gain like 200 followers per shoutout, which is better than what I get on FL.

I've tried switching out accounts that FL followers users from, but I still get the same results for followers. What am I missing here?

Maybe your niche isnt attractive to masses. However Micro-niche can be more profitable per follower if used correctly. Remember that IG users want to see exciting and beautiful pics and not skin-care related pics etc.

For sure! I haven't even introduced any products or anything yet. I'm just trying to build a solid following. I bought another shoutout today and got about 700 followers from that, so I know it's not the content, because I'm getting lots of engagement. Is it possible what I'm targeting and how I'm targeting on FL?

What are you settings on FL? Your engagement seems a bit low for the amount you're following per day. This is just on your main account, what do you do on other accounts? Have you tried increasing the amount you follow per day for a week to see if it yields better results?

Thanks for the reply! I agree! I've tried to increase the amount I follow per day, but feel like it's been about the same engagement, which is strange. To be honest, my settings just might be terrible. These are my settings below:

Automation time: 10AM - 10PM
I scrape users from big accounts with similar a similar, but not exact niche related to mine.

Follow Days (Tues, Thu, Sat, Sun)
Follow Limit: 12-20
Daily follow limit: 650-700
Delay follow: 35-45

Unfollow Days (Mon, Wed, Fri)
Unfollow limit: 5-10
Daily unfollow limit: 450-500
Delay unfollow: 35-45

For the other accounts, I only run 400-450 follows a day with the same automation time, because they're still new accounts, but still don't get much engagement on those to be honest. I'm thinking it might be the settings. What do you think of ones I have currently?
