Started doing clickbank yesterday. I woke up this morning and looked at my analytics. I have 137 clicks and no conversions.

Method.

Lets say im promoting an item. I will get a domain similar to that item so it doesnt seem "shady" and 301 direct right to the clickbank sales page. I am advertising in various locations online. thats it.Screen Shot 2012-04-22 at 11.45.14 AM.png

It really depends on where you get the traffic from. For instance, if your traffic is coming from Twitter most of those clicks are likely bots. Another reason is the traffic is not targeted and the people that go to the page are not at all interested in what it's selling. Try to get better targeted traffic sometimes you can even pre-sell on your page first to get better conversions. Could be the sales page too, look at it and see if it can successfully sell a product.

cheers!. yea I think the issue is its not targeted correctly.

I agree on the landing page, ask yourself would a person be buying more because of the LP, or despite the LP? How much pre-selling does the product (or your website setup) need to produce sales? Are the keywords information kws, or buying keywords (being searched for by people close to making a buying decision)? And have a bit of patience, a day or so isn't the best frame of reference to ask "what am I doing wrong?"

Yes, start making sure your traffic is targeted and coming from related places. Without targeted traffic, you'll get near to no conversions.

Q: What am I doing wrong?

A: For one, you're being rather impatient. There have been people who have made money in the first 24 hours, but rest assured that it is not the norm. Beyond that, it could be the traffic or even the offer. Hell, it could be the payment page.

It is true that one should be patient. Do you think that 301 redirects are worth being made? or is it better to have a website for pre-selling and higher ranking?

thank you!
