What am I doing wrong with Scrapebox?????!!

-I scraped 20K keywords from the term "lose weight"
-I then harvested with working public proxies got about 400K results. I checked the only wordpress blogs circle and the footprint I used was -comments closed"
-I blasted those blogs with private proxies, 110k blog were successful.
-I checked my links...only 123 RESULTS WERE FOUND!!!
What they heck am I doing wrong???? I blasted this list for 2 days

Use the custom footprint option and try a footprint such as: "Name" "Website" "Leave a"
Harvest Google/Yahoo/AOL - your choice

Remove Duplicate Domains, Post them, check them.

Expect around 1% found, mostly fresh blogs. You can use other footprints to target already spammed blogs such as "leave a" "100..15000 Responses"

P.S I recommend picking up a few private proxies to increase your overall success rate.

110k were successfully submitted. However, I believe the comments could still be counted as spam or end up in the moderation queue for the site owner/webmaster to approve.
So even though they were submitted, it doesn't mean that they were auto-approved.

That's one of the possible reasons for why only 123 results were found.

If you are using the same few urls every 100k blast Akismet will quickly flag your urls and if that happens your comments don't even make to the spam list. Akismet have the power to literally blocks your comments from being posted, that's whey they will not even hit the spam folder.

I always embed the link in the comment text and I have a much higher success rate when doing so. That may work best for you too.
Another thing you may try is creating a big list of emails. Akismet also uses the emails addresses when filtering out spam, so increasing your fake email list will give better results.

Edit: Keep in mind that the fact that a blog is Auto-Approve it doesn't mean it do not use Akismet to filter out spam, so make use of the tips above.

Yeah I know that. But I'm saying how come the links found success rate was so low from a list of 400k urls.

Thanks I'm going to try that footprint. I have private proxies...I use them for posting only.

yeah I was using my ezines articles link in the url/website section of the comments for every blast and embedding my url into the comment. Where can I find a huge list of dummy urls?

I use public proxies for HARVESTING not POSTING. I use private proxies for POSTING - I'm going to try this again with the footprint that GoldenGlovez gave me- of course scraping new keywords as well

You can just use a single '#' in the place of the urls, this always works good for me. To illustrate it, yesterday I did a 2500 blast to some web 2.0. Where 753 were posted successfully (yeah, was using public proxies) and today when I checked it SB found 77 to be live, so this works pretty well.

A lot of people uses dummy domains to find non-moderated blogs as well. The domain name can be anything, just add an extension to it and your good. To generate some dummy domains, I go to:

There you will want to create about 100~300 passwords. For this change the password length to something above 20 (20 is fine) and check the "CSV File" option, click on "Make Passwords", get that list and go to

http://textmechanic.com/Add-Prefix-Suffix-to-Text.html

Now paste your 'passwords' in the 'Input Box'. In the prefix box you want to make sure to add 'http://' or 'https://' and add a domain extension (with a dot before it) of your choice on the suffix box (eg: '.com') and click on "Add Prefix and/or Suffix".

Play with it, you can multiply your 100 passwords to 500 domains if you add 5 different extensions to them. Just save the list and you're good to use them.

After blasting your dummy password-generated domains, just check to see if the links are alive. If they are, then its more likely that the blogs they were posted to are not moderated and pretty much do not use Akismet (althought they may do).

For the lists, I always scrape a fresh list for blasting my web 2.0. I do not care if the blogs are follow or not since usually I just want google to think that there is some 'buzz' behind my web 2.0, it's not really for the pagerank. But if you're for the pagerank then you really need follow blogs. For that I just use the regular set of footprints like:

"name (required)" "email|e-mail (will not be published)" site|website
"1..1000 Comments" "leave a reply"
"No Comments" "leave a reply"

And so on.. No need to be too fluffy here since most people are not wordpress experts and will use its default comment template on their themes (I do and I'm very well versed with PHP and WP).

The key to find good Follow blogs from scraping lists is make use of some well known footprints from plugins like "U comment, I follow" or KeywordLuv. Also it sometimes happens that a particular theme/plugin enables Follow links without user consent and if you find one that does you will surely find a bunch of blogs that use that same theme/plugin.

Building good follow lists is not hard but it might need some manual labor and a couple of hours.

So I just checked that found links with the ScrapeBox D0Follow addon and found 3 links to be Follow out of 85 found links. I checked it again and found out that some comments actually gotten approved by the blog moderators. One of the follow links even have PR of 1 (not big deal, I know).

If the comments were approved that means they were not blocked by Akismet spam filter. This leaves no doubt that the method I told you in those last posts works pretty well and I believe the reason behind the really low success rate is the fact that I was using public proxies.

Scale it up, make use of some good private proxies, a good email and comment list and build your own Follow blogs lists. It's not hard, scraping and checking links using the addons is the toughest part, believe me.

This is what I use, works perfectly.
I get about 30% success in posting and about 25-30% of those are found (Autoapprove).

Grab all the other peoples backlinks from the site that is auto approve. Chances are they have auto approve backlinks as well from other sites and just follow along.

Please read the thread before posting. I already mentioned that I use public proxies from a subscription that I'm signed up with for harvesting and I use private proxies for posting. There is a crucial difference between the two.
