In the past, I used to create blogs and it used to work well.

But in the past year, I tried to create 3 blogs with the same process:
-Keyword research.
-I write articles for these SEO keywords using ChatGPT, and then I humanize them with online tools like UndetectableAI and some manual rewritting until I get a maximum of 50% on originality.ai and 0% on zerogpt.
-I write long article (1000-2000 words.) and use yoast to have all green SEO signals with the plugin.
-I put original images (whatever within the article and featured images) that I create myself, and I add youtube videos (not mine) in my articles.
-I add very well structured and coherent internal/external links.

I have tried this with 3 blogs already in different niches (dog blog, tech blog, food blog.)

For each of these, the result have been the same. I see a peak of impressions in my GSC in the first 1 or 2 months. And then suddenly, one day to another, I get 0 impression. As if google has banned my website. Except that it isn't banned, and there is no manual actions on either of these sites. If I search the url of my domains, they appear on google. But all my articles have been delisted, and I just get no impression at all.

I see some of the most obvious AI website (and by AI I mean blogs that doesn't even bother rewritte their articles, and are detected by detectors as 100% AI) thrive in google, while all my blogs just keep getting shadow banned despite me rewritting them, and with original images.

Is there something I am missing?

First, those AI detectors are nonsense, they can't detect anything
Are you sure your articles are good quality after this paraphrasing process? It seems Google is penalizing your websites due to its low quality content, since the articles are being deindexed. I don't know why you tried 3 times the exact same strategy if since the first website, this idea was not working properly and required some tweaks.

It's not banned. This is not manual action but algorithmic filter.

AI content might be one cause. If they can detect it, they will attribute it to AI not to the website. (checker scores don't mean much)

But what is more likely happening is incoherent content.

These days it's all about semantics and looking at the website as a whole.

It's possible the pages are not really supporting each-other but rather fighting.

You have to decide the topic of the website and stick to it. Make all pages support it.

Old approach would be to find keywords and open new page for each. Not gonna fly now.

best shoes for men
best shoes for grandma
best shoes for Christmas
...

And plugin scores should be taken with a great grain of salt.

They focus on document retrieval, not response.

Ok, can you help me with the writing process I should use instead of my old method? How should I proceed? And can I still use ChatGPT to do so?

Add articles which you have written without the help of AI and give it a shot. Do reach out if you need help writing articles.
