if you have new idea and SEO budget then its good to start a coupon site as it has a lot of earning potential ..But you should add something new which should help or solve the problem .
May be exclusive coupons?
What do you think of as new coupon site owner/??
I mean, getting the site ready, run few adwords campaign, SEO , SEM, SMM then after that, will I start generating income?
Its not simple as that right?

Am sick of seeing such sites,tbh.
Lots of newbs think this the ticket to immense success and make these sites and then come around asking why they aren't seeing any sales. And then they try selling these failed attempts.
I've seen this on another forum too,firsthand.
Just know that if you wanna setup an authority site,you're gonna need some good initial investment ~ Ads.
You also need to be brilliant at Social media.
If you don't have that,probably not a good idea.

You can generate some income with SEM and SMM , but main thing will be SEO and its 60-70 % risk to invest money in SEO , no matter what keywords you are targeting , so if you have money in your pocket and able to take the risk then you should proceed .
About new idea , initially i would ask users to submit their phone number and i would manually send them new coupons on whatsapp .

Have you had any success getting leads with Whatsapp? Do you buy Whatsapp broadcasts or just do your own contact list?
