What about BNB ??

btw, I just realized something about Ethereum's dominance. It's not easy, if it is even currently possible, to transfer your tokens and NFTs from the Ethereum blockchain to a different blockchain. So gas fees killed in away Ethereum, because they halted trade, but since transferring, say, a CryptoPunk to a different blockchain is not possible, all those billions of USD are stuck there and Ethereum is in practice just experiencing a kind of comma, as users patiently wait for the ETH 2.0 merger to reignite trade.

The ETH 2.0 merger is planned for October 2021. From what I've read, I doubt that we'll see interoperability between blockchains until then. Here's some of Hoskinson's thoughts on this:

If we remember that some hipsters already bought NFTs on Ethereum for several million US dollars, it's easy to see that Ethereum won't go down without a fight. Especially if it will take "three to five years" to make transfers of assets between blockchains possible.

In conclusion: no wonder sentiments for Ethereum are high even when it doesn't work for 90% of the population. Too much capital is already stuck there.

This also means that capital won't easily flow from ETH to BNB as I suggested above. More likely, in the near- to mid-term, BNB will grow independently of whatever happens with ETH and its corresponding collection of cryptopunk "art".

I'm thinking it will rise up and even rival eth or bitcoin. But that's my sole opinion. I'm not certified to offer investment advice.
