What 2.0 blog site is reliable?

I heard of BlogSpot.com or wordpress.com blogs being deleted if the person is not really blogging.

I am just going to use the blog as a place to post screenshots and some data for my own reference and a few friends only. Most of the blog post will be screenshots without words, for example the first draft of the web layout, second draft, logo design, troubleshoot process, some notes, and sometimes I will ask my friends to check out the screenshots there.

May I know what site does not have very strict rules and can do what I want? I do not want to wake up one day and see that the blog is deleted.

well there are many web 2.0 sites that you can use. People generally use them for backlinks but you are talking about uploading the screenshots and some data only.

I never heard that Blogger are being deleted. I strongly recommend for Blogger as web 2.0 property.

I'd recommend Tumblr. As far as design is concerned it's years ahead of Blogger. It's reliable, and as Tumblr itself already is a social site, it's really easy to get traffic to your Tumblr blog as well as make it pagerank 1-3.

Blogger is the best. I have a blog on blogger for 3 years and it is not being deleted too. Wordpress there are too many restrictions like unable to post affiliate links or embed adsense links. As far as a blog for free, go for blogger you will not regret.

Yeah, as long as you don't create dozens of accounts from the same IP, and your content is readable/unique they're more than likely to stick on most sites.

So it really just comes down to preference, as others have mentioned, Blogger, Wordpress, Tumblr and Weebly tend to be the most popular.

I'm using Wordpress.com and there's no problem adding affiliate links or paypal buttons - can't do adsense though.

I think it's doesn't matter what Web 2.0 sites You're picking. Because I believe in Content if you write quality, unique and user friendly content then it'll be effective ofcourse. But still I prefer to make first Wordpress, Blogspot, Hubpages, Tumblr and Google[dot]com/Site

If it's just images for friends and family how about Flickr?

If you're doing SEO blogs, my order of preference is:

1. Blogspot
2. Wordpress
3. Tumblr

They all rank well and do not get deleted if you don't update them.
