Hi all,
I want to share with you a money making technique I used a couple of months ago.
However, I'm not going to fill in every detail for you. Why?
1- I truly believe "spoon feeding" is counter productive
2- This method can get saturated and over-exploited fast ( think Sidereel method ). So, I want only those who are willing to put some time and work into it to actually profit from it. Don't worry, the method itself is pretty straight forward.
Overview:
1- It involves using Kaboodle.com . What is Kaboodle ? The biggest Social site for shoppers in the internet. Reaches over 3.4 million US people a month according to Quantcast.
Now, the thing with Kaboodle is that it has an internal SE - much as YT does -. If you're interested in buying product A, want to read reviews on it, etc you insert the name of the product and out come the results with the different stores where other Kaboodlers have found it, the price, review, etc.
Obviously, as a Kaboodler you can inform the community about products YOU find, too. Get the picture ? ( How do you submit these products to Kaboodle ? 2 or 3 ways. Go to Kaboodle and check it out. )
Want to know more about the people who hang out there ? Besides actually going to Kaboodle and checking profiles, you can go to Quantcast.com and get all the info you need.
2- Kaboodle revolves mainly around lists. You can make lists about anything: clothes you like, gifts for your wife, Playstation games, books you'd like to read, cheapest used toyotas online, etc Once you submit a product, you create or select the list you want it to appear on.
3- Now, the question here is obviously how hard is it for your products to appear on top of Kaboodle listings for your Keyword. Compared to YT, VERY easy - that's until this post, anyway -.
In any social site, positioning on their internal SEs depend mainly on 3 things:
1- Internal Optimization of assets ( posts, profile, lists )
2- Links from within the site to your assets
3- Links from outside the site to your assets
There may be other things involved as profile age, for example, but the 3 above pretty much sum it up in my opinion.
For Kaboodle in particular, if you want a product you submit to go to the top, focus on the first 2 points above. In my short experience with them, number 3 doesn't carry as much weight. Then again, I may be wrong. You try it.
The method:
1- Go to Kaboodle
2- Sign up and build a profile ( optimize )
3- If you want ( this is what I did ), look for popular searches on Kaboodle. Where on Kaboodle? You find it out.
4- Make OPTIMIZED list(s) of products related to the one you're promoting. Make your main product appear on all of them : For instance, ipod touch best prices, ipod touch applications, ipod touch cases. In all of those lists, include the item "ipod touch" with a link to your store.
Hint: you can copy an item from an earlier list of yours. Remember: pay attention to internal links.
4- Can you link directly to your affiliate page? In my experience, no. It won't carry your ID.
There are ways around this. How ? You find it out. Do this: Search for a few items, and check URLs. Not all of them will be of big stores. Just try to make your URL look somewhat professional. It helps and can cost you no more than a few bucks at Godaddy. There are even free choices related to Amazon you can use, but I'll leave it at that.
5- If you're into it, socialize. It'll go a long way.
6- Kaboodle is not the only social site like this.
7- Try not to screw this within the next few weeks by carelessly abusing this site. Creative WH goes a long way, too.
Ok, that's pretty much it.
Did I mention everything I discovered about Kaboodle and how to make this work ? No, but I can tell you this: I researched and worked for about 4 hours in 2 consecutive days. That was enough to make me a few hundred extra dollars in December. ( Quite, frankly I thought I'd make more. Hope YOU can ) If I could make this work, so can you.
I won't post nor recieve PMs asking for more details than already provided.
Good luck to you all.
