Last weekend, Dynadot suspended 6 of my domains claiming that they were "rogue pharmacies" based solely on an email from LegitScript. I asked them to release my domains to be transferred to another registrar and they replied: >>>If we allow you to transfer your rogue pharmacies, it could be argued that we are aiding you in illegal activity under the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act of 2008. >>>As LegitScript has declined to change the designation of your domains, we will be unable to re-enable them for you. These are WH domains that have never been spammed, do not advertise controlled substances, and only contain links to other websites. They also have filters in the outbound links that block US traffic from using them. Each pharmacy that was linked required a prescription and complied with the laws of their respective locality. None of them are "rogue pharmacies" but they are probably not paying LegitScript for their certification. My sites have been up and running since 2006 and have evolved to meet the changing legislation with the pharma industry in order to perform due diligence and not promote illegal activity. There is no legal basis for disabling these domains. One domain in particular did not have any content at all, per a legal agreement made in 2008 due to a trademark issue. This domain was still disabled. My objective is to get Dynadot to release my domains and allow me to transfer them to another registrar. Does anyone have experience with dealing with them? Do you know someone that specializes in helping with this situation (ICANN arbitration or even providing some trustworthy feedback). I'm willing to pay for some assistance and if someone can refer me to someone who helps, I will offer a referral bonus.
