So, I was browsing WF, when I saw a thread about "where do you get images for your Facebook fanpages".

Check out some of the answers.

    From my experience:

    1. A FB Fanpage requires anywhere between 5-10 images to be posted daily in order to stay active. Some even upload 15+
    2. An average you will be paying $10 per image on iStockPhoto

My whole life is a lie...

Stock photos, yes, but make sure to get the $50/piece ones. Totally worth it.

I would only guess it is a promotion for the mentioned stock photo website. Everything on WF seems to be a promotion, and if you speak out about how dumb the comments are, your account is banned and comments deleted. This is why there is no value in the WF, it is simply one big advertisement, great for the owners, but does not give the user what the user actually wants.

Having said that if you dig around you can find good info there, but you will need to dig with more than a spade.

5 to 10 images posted a day? Seems a bit much?

Yeah it is a non-sense, unless you are managing a page for very big and very famous brand - then it would be worth it, otherwise you might loose a lot more in legal battles.
