Years ago BHW had an Email Marketing section. Something happened and someone got scared and it went away. It was in VIP for a little while but that wasn't the best place for it.

WF and many other smaller and larger forums have this section. Why can BHW not have it back again?

Please add it back.

Currently people with questions about Email Marketing are posting in many different places. Those of us who have a question are dirtying up the forum by posting wherever we want and those of us who want to assist do not have a place to go to to read and reply.

Please provide an update.

Thanks.

Yesterday I was thinking exactly of this! The absence of email section on the forum is huge drawback!

I think because people were abusing that section asking how to send five billion emails from my server etc. Also, there could have been some legal stuff as well plus a few guys were spies from a certain site.

I wouldn't look up to the WF in any aspect.

The sections on the warrior forum talk mostly about list building but here we need about emailing.

Yeah that's the reason.

Just like cracking, cookie stuffing and other topics are forbidden to discuss, same restrictions can apply for the email marketing. Admins can appoint one experienced and trusted member to be a section mod in order to ensure that the discussed topics comply with the rules. There are some legit stuff that could be discussed like: list building, setting up servers, optimizations of campaigns in general and so on.

The email section in the jrvip forum is dead and this is not a good environment for a healthy discussion.

Send a private message to Damien the owner of BHW, i'm sure he will implement this section. He always reply fast

agree, in WF and other related forum , they all talk about list building, but not the real Email Marketing...

There is a download section full of pirated materials how is that safer to allow than the rules on certain topics?, just discussing things "For Educational Purposes" isn't illegal.

If each of us (yes, that means you) send Damien a message right now, we may be able to see a change.

There are websites that tell you how to make illegal drugs, build a bomb, or even celebrate the death of police officers... but yet talking about email marketing is too risky?

It being in JrVIP is the reason it is dead. I had a VIP membership when it was added but the forum was dead people people do not see it. I understand there are some methods that should be hidden but this isn't one.

I realize that there will be people asking how to mail to 5 million emails they bought for $5 but we as a community can chose to ignore those people and instead focus on the other stuff.

Don't forget to message Damien. Let him know that you would like to see the Email Marketing section back and available for everyone.

Thanks

How about not flooding DD with messages. Posting your thoughts in this section is plenty enough to get our attention. There could be a return of this section to the public, but that's on the backburner while we complete our rollout onto the new platform.

Something happened and someone got scared and it went away.

You can't even articulate why we had to change things, so why bolster your ignorance of the dynamics with rhetoric? This particular topic has a long and sordid history here, of which you are woefully unaware of, and isn't nearly as simple as you think it is.

That's not really an option for staff, we're the ones that have to clean this stuff up and monitor for bullshit. All day and night, every day and night. Suggesting everyone just ignore a problem isn't helpful in any way.

None of that material is hosted by us, and we dutifully respond to legitimate takedown notices for the links contained therein. The OP topic isn't a legal issue, it's far more nebulous and complicated than that.

WF, seriously ?? We are in 2016.
Anyway, good luck with people needing this.

I am a very old member of WF and that forum is almost dead and there is no comparison of Bhw

Wow - look at who had to break out their old-English thesaurus for their reply. Nice! I've been here longer than you and based on stats alone, have contributed more than you so before you bolster your ignorance about me not understanding, realize that I understand much more than you think I do. Just because I didn't recap the full history and the organizations that threatened to have BHW servers shut down does not mean I do not know.

I think BHW is one of the best forums on the web. Folks say "WF is dead" and that is my point - if they have it, why doesn't BHW.

All of that said, I do appreciate your reply and I am glad to know that it has at least made it onto the back burner and I do look forward to seeing it return soon. Email marketing is very legal and is still an easy way to make money selling legit products and services.

Thank you bz for taking the time to reply as a staff member.

Have a great evening.
