I need a bank with a European IBAN (not Spanish) and I'm running out of options. I already have Monese, Wise, N26, Revolut, etc. Revolut no longer works for me because Spanish users have been forced to switch to a Spanish IBAN.
In my search, I've found a bank that could be interesting (weststein), but looking on TripAdvisor, I've seen that they have a very high number of negative reviews. Some comments mention fund blocks, requests for documentation to prolong waiting times, and nonexistent customer service.
I already had similar problems with Bunq. They started asking me for documentation, blocking my funds, and in the end, I had to close that account.
The thing is, I'm afraid to use this bank (weststein) given these reviews, but I don't have many more alternatives either.
Any experiences regarding this?
