Thats why the scammers use wu. no way to claim it back. In my experience anyone insisting on payment only thru wu is a scammer for sure or at least dodgy goods.....

If someone will ONLY take western union, there's a good chance it's a scam.

western union, red flag

Once the funds are picked up, you can't get them back with WU or moneygram.

Sorry it happened, but consider it a 450 dollar lesson.

I won't say that, I have done good business with people from pak, but to the OP nah u can't do a chargeback i don't think...however u can still call the bank and ask them to dispute the charge but don't be surprised if they say no.

That might work if he paid with an echeck to fund the western union transfer, but it would only work if he didn't authorize the debit. Western union would fight that claw tooth and nail, so I don't think it's even worth mentioning.

I think they will need to send cops to charge receiver with charge back. Do you accept car or other goods as recovery? in case he used up your money.

Yes. Paypal has a buyer guarantee where he would have to provide proof of shipment, or the buyer can open a dispute.
