hey guys where is the cheapest place to purchase domains?

also, what are most of these sales pages using? for example once customer pays, they are then directed to downloads page... how and what program/software are they using?

thanks in advance.

for domain names, namecheap and go daddy seem to be the cheapest.

then you can search the web for a coupon and get domains for about 7 bucks on go daddy

you can try namecheap for domains, it comes with free privacy.
for sales pages etc you can use 'Digital product demon' in the download section.
they can pay you through paypal or use clickbank those major players

thanks for the tips and advice guys, will look into them. appreciate it.

just wait for

Black Friday

that is near 1 or 2 week later

you definitely got gud deals.

I believe (and somewhat sure personally) Netfirms is the best. Their service is decent, price range is now unbeatable. They offer domains for $4.95 including privacy (they always include privacy) for free. Use code PROMO495. You can buy up to 5 domains using this code.

There are also some other promo codes regarding Netfirms. I am sure you will find them whenever you need. Moreover, their domain control panel is what I like most.

No they will never charge you for privacy. It is always included. I also used this code for renewal but lost my right now since I have consumed it all the way for 5 domains.

thanks for the share guys, really appreciate it.

internet.bs is also another registrar that's cheaper than others and offers free whois privacy... but the catch is you have to deposit $75 upfront.

@lucius - where are you getting the $75 upfront fee from? internet.bs charged me no such thing to set up an account and transfer some names in.

@everyone - use a mix of reliable registrars with cheap prices, godaddy with their discount domain club, namecheap, internet.bs, enom, for example. Then maybe get yourself a reseller account with one of them if you want to really live it up and put some names in there (one cool thing about being a reseller is some of the registrars will let you give your customers free privacy for a certain quantity of names; just a thought)...

EDIT: by cheap prices and reliable registrars, I do *not* mean 1&1 or yahoo, who are two of the worst registrars in terms of service around. Yeah they can be cheap but they're like crack dealers - they'll suck you in with low prices then wreck your name portfolio.

Yes they are good. You can use the PROMO495 for 5 domains as stated but you can repeat this on different credit cards and you get 5 domains on each card. I got my girlfriend to use 3 of her cards for me and then just transfered the domains to me later.

Well I signed up with them and tried to purchase domain names but was told to deposit $75 upfront.

Huh interesting...I wonder if they do that with people in certain geographic regions. Just to be clear - Wasn't calling you a liar, just piqued my curiousity. I assume they let you then spend that 75 on stuff with them?

Netfirms have some kick-ass coupons all the time specially for new registrations. Their back-end is garbage though but workable. The company itself is solid just their control panel interface that isn't very user friendly.
