Went Blind Today (Seriously)

This must be one of the most terrifying thing. Imagine if it somehow lasted for far longer, making you think you've gone blind for real?
This is EXACTLY the thoughts I was having.

I was thinking I'm stuck like this.

I was so grateful when I could to see again.

Glad that you are okay otherwise who would share the latest trends with me. It’s basically a mini-surgery, and like other surgeries, a little bit risky. I’ve hears of dentists removing or grinding the wrong tooth a times, happened with me too when i was a kid. The tooth got sensitive for a long time but now it’s better.

It's a huge relief to hear that your sight returned and you're feeling much better now, even if you're not quite 100% yet. Take it easy and give yourself time to fully recover.

That sounds really scary—glad you're feeling a bit better now. Take it easy and hope you recover fully soon!

Holy shit, guess you are happy as hell now then. Never even heard about that problem before, glad it went well at least.

I had to go the dentist this morning for a filling.

The dentist injected my gum with anesthetic to numb my gum before drilling.

Except the anesthetic accidentally went into a blood vessel.

The anesthetic travelled up my blood stream into my eyes.

I opened my eyes and everything was a blur.

I couldn't see anything. Then I started burning up and felt sick.

I told the dentist and his assistant that I couldn't see anything and I could hear the panic in there voices.

Then the dentist tilted me backward in the chair and put a cold flannel in my head to bring my temperature down.

20 mins later I could see again but can't focus my eyes properly.

6 hours later I'm much better but still not 100%

How's your day going?
So you got numb blood, does the blood clot :)

Dentists are mostly a scam - you go to the average dentist, there's a fairly high chance they miss something &/or underperform. Best treated as a last resort, managing your own oral health is definitely high up on the things to learn asap list.
I liked it when they gave me a piece of paper listing $15,000.00 of dental work they said I needed and offered me credit so I could get started on it right away. /s

That's crazy!

That is actually so scary. Hope youre doing okay now. I wouldve panicked a lot if I hear the staff panicking lol.

You don’t have to be scared. Just don’t go to a cheap one and your problem is half solved already.
Yeahh, I used to go to doctors a lot, expensive private ones included and while some procedures helped most the time I came back sicker and had to pay shitloads for that. So I'm scared still, lol. This isn't about me though, hope that OP is fine and doesn't have any permanent damage.

I got scared just reading this because I had a filling and a cap for my two teeth.

I've made a note of the people laughing at my misery.

You have all been targeted for destruction.

(Just kidding ha ha)
