Recently I started doing blackhat spam to the max with amazon listings and other parasite pages on huge sites as whitehat seo is a zero sum game.. a wild goose chase if you will.
Turns out you can create pure gibberish, keyword stuffed garbage and get google to rank these pages aslong as you create lots of internal link to the page you are ranking.
Mass creating gibberish pages and creating just bad quality spam links I managed to basically break google with gibberish for a very competitive keyword for a while with page after page of my spam appearing after page 4 and onwards (though this did happen during the recent panda refresh however more than a few pages have stuck on page 4 and onwards).
But if you create internal links (can be automated rubbish it doesnt matter) and link these to your parasite page this is when you can easily get on page 1. If you think about it most amazon pages that rank on page 1 dont have any links from other sites pointing to them they just rely on link and link juice flowing from other amazon pages and this is key... and these internal pages that link to your site do not have to be high quality at all.
