That is it... you slice it thin and put it on a platter with other cold cuts. Dip it in your choice of mustard and eat it without any bread or anything.
Probably an old Italian thing (I'm sure some Italians know better than I) but that was part of my childhood and I've been running with it since then.
My guess it is more of reliving the feeling of how things were than enjoying the taste today but the taste is pretty spot on good.
Edit: All that being said, you go to lunch and don't at least take orders from the rest of us and I'll ban
