Look out for Gemini Ultra in an advanced version of Bard early next year​

One of the first ways you’ll be able to try Gemini Ultra is through Bard Advanced, a new, cutting-edge AI experience in Bard that gives you access to our best models and capabilities. We’re currently completing extensive safety checks and will launch a trusted tester program soon before opening Bard Advanced up to more people early next year.

So i asked bard itself for a high level summary and here it is

Bard was a great name :weep: is awesome they are improving their AI they are trying to stay at same level as gpt so google is putting the fight and now with copilot AI on windows is even better but I find it more as bloatware that usefull :D better use the AI from the webbrwoser that integrated on my pc.

From what I understand and see, they are still gonna be called "Bard".
It's just the "gemini" update, like you know penguin, hummingbird updates etc for seo in the past
 
I'd give it 1-2 years before almighty Google decides to discontinue it just like the hundreds of other startups they took down so yeah I'd hold my breath before building an app relying entirely on Bard but hopefully, this short-lived idea gets OpenAI threatened to do something other than raising their Plus prices lol.
 
The good news is not the Gemini's capabilities (I doubt it's better than GPT-4 Turbo), but the fact that there is competition in AI development. More alternatives -> faster progress.
 
I think it's good that there is competition between the big tech companies. I am curious to see how Apple will react to this.

But I think in the end OpenAI will prevail with the help of Microsoft, because with Copilot it will become part of Windows 12, Office, Bing and co. and Microsoft will have a much larger data set to train the AI.

they are lying, when the advanced version thats actually showed in their youtube videos actually comes out itll be like early 2025

google is not that advanced yet, not even openai is that advanced

does google bard (gemini) has more actual data than chatgpt free version?
Can gemini creating visuals, infographics, websites (with html and css files ?
My short view with bard is it can write more naturally human style than chatgpt, Bing AI you (or now copilot?) the same.

Gemini is only good in very very few areas
In terms of context and understanding
Gpt is too far ahead of Gemini
 
i tried Bard. It isn't what we SEO peeps want. Chat GPT understands us better I think.
