From last few hours, problem seems gone.
Thanks bhw team and damien whose quick response and hard work solved the security issue.
You proved that bhw really cares.
 
the problem still persists! when ever i go to forum home page or trying to access the pm something strange happens.
anyways keep working hard and try to solve the issue !

Issues now being reported on this thread are unrelated to the op.
Closing thread - thanks BHW for working on this with us.
Will reopen if issue returns.
 
Have had a report of issue reoccurring - we're looking into it now, so am re-opening thread. Let us know if you're experiencing any of the issues and the more information you can provide, the better. Issue appears resolved on our end - redundant server in Hong Kong still wanting to play.

PM me if you come across this problem again please.
 
The issue is still effecting me.

I just went to check my PMs and was able to read the PMs of another user. I have a screen shot if the admins want it.

Previously, I could just read the PM titles, but not actually open them. This morning, I had an email saying "new pm". I followed the link:

Saw an unread PM and clicked it. Didn't realise at the time I was in another users Pms. On reading the PM I realised it wasn't mine.

I then went to BHW forum page and I was logged out, I logged in, went back to my PMs and I am in my PMs
 
Can you send the screenshot using support.blackhatworld.com and, if you're able to, send the page source pasted into a text file. The situation should be resolved but (like anything online) the effects can take some time to propagate fully. If you can include basic info on your setup and general location when you send the screenshot, we can check that it's part of the tail-off rather than a new issue.
 
This problem is still affecting us....
I have opened my account & found this: ***mod edit: screenshots removed***
I doubt, some other members can also find my account like this...
What's the solution of it?

It is NOT ok to post screenshots of other people's accounts - I'll remove the images but if you get the problem, use support.blackhatworld.com to send them directly to us.

As I said, it looks like the problem is fixed at our end but there's some remote servers that are not updated yet and it may take a while to refresh. Tell us if you still have problems so we can make sure it's resolving itself and there is nothing new happening.
 
This issue now appears resolved, with comments coming in that are unrelated I'll close this thread.

If you see this happen again to you please pm me or contact support.blackhatworld.com and provide a screen shot including the time stamp and a view source of the page.
 
It still happens to me, multiple times per day. It's really annoying because I use the light theme of BHW and suddenly it switches to dark, which hurts my eyes very much.

Screenshot + source code of page + date and time of it happening and send at support.blackhatworld.com or the report isn't as helpful because this is supposed to be fixed and appears to be (I was suffering badly from it before). Try clearing your browser cache.

Edit: I just switched to the white theme to see if I could reproduce it. Been clicking around and nothing yet.
