Great news for Ethereum (82% of my portfolio).

However, Weiss ratings don't matter if these coins can't get to Pied Piper's Weissman score of 2.89. These are Hooli numbers.

Agree. But newbie crypto traders are treating this news as a definite signal... just look at Ripple crashing now right after the news was out. Ouch.
However, cryptos that's being dumped from this news will bounce back within a few days time... once all the newbie or 'get rich quick' speculators have exited. Also a great time to stock up if you ask me ;)

A grade of A or B can also be interpreted as the investment rating equivalent of “buy.” At the same time, investors should not be overly alarmed by a C rating. It is a passing grade, and for investors, implies the equivalent of “hold.” Grades of D” and E” are the equivalent of “sell.” However, investment decisions should not be made solely based on ratings. They are meant as a tool in the context of a broader risk management strategy.

Honestly a bit disappointed with these ratings, I mean I expected nothing more, but EOS, Cardano and STEEM are a B? You got to be kidding me, they don't even have a real working product yet. Although I agree with NEO and ETH, as they are both excellent.

But wait, how's the bubble? Have we passed this phase yet?

I'm surprised Ripple didn't get an A+ to be honest lol.
Seriously though I wasn't expecting to see XBY on there, are we sure this list is legit?

Hey, yeah, it is legit. I just realise the link to the PDF has been removed... I also found out that the list actually needs to be purchased, but the link was leaked out (hence, the link isn't working anymore).

And yeah, the screenshots were taken by me - directly from the PDF.

Not saying you didn't, but websites do get hacked so I was wondering if they had confirmed the legitimacy of it.
Like you say though, it won't have much of an impact anyway, I've never even heard of them.

Ah I see your point now lol. And I'm as surprised as you (or anyone who is to) because some of the coins were good but got a C rating instead. I even thought they got hacked or were paid to compile such an unbelievable report.

Anyway... at its time of release, most of the coins moved. But now they've pretty much corrected back to its position prior to the release of the report. lol

Oh well~

Dogecoin...a coin that has been abandoned by it's devs...got a C. Yeah, I don't trust Weiss Ratings.

Dogecoin is still great to hold. Not for profits or speculation though, but for tipping and rewarding ;)
