Weird youtube rank

So.. me and other guy uploaded same video, same day. We both got only natural views, because that video went viral.


For now, i have 60,000 views, and other guy has120,000 views. But what has to be said when i had 10,000 he has 1,000.


On my video i have tags, descriptions and about 300 (natural) likes, he has nothing.






My video title is like: "Blabla: Commercial parody"
And his video title is like: "Commercial: Blabla.HD"


"Blabla" of course is just example. Its not my video title.


And there is funny thing; how our videos shows for keywords:


keyword: "Blabla" - his video rank 1, my video doesnt show in 10 pages


keyword: "Commercial: Blabla.HD" my video rank 1, his video doesnt show in 10 pages. WTF?! why my video shows under his video title?


keyword: "Blabla: Commercial parody" his video rank 1, my video doesnt show. WTF x2. my video title and his video is rank 1?!


keyword: "Blabla Commercial" or "Blabla Parody" is all time my video rank 1.




The thing is:
1) why keyword of my video title show his video, and in other direction. His video title keyword show my video.
2) the main keyword is "Blabla". Why there is only his video?

Lol, Youtube logic

Youtube sees that the two videos are related to each other.

It's just weird youtube logic.
There might be a real explanation to it, but most of us probably don't know what causes it.

Algorithms be quirky, simple as that. It's the programming equivalent of emergent gameplay in video games. Sorta like how Dr. Lanning in I, Robot mentioned random, unexpected lines of code that somehow come together to make the NS-4s huddle together in storage crates. Just... on a lot more basic level. haha
