[WEIRD] Youtube Comments with url shortener

Yesterday I was playing around with youtube comments and the idea for comments and upvoting bot. Posted some comment manually and used tinyurl shortened CB link. Posted the link within the comment like this "tinyurl(dot)com/acne-home-remedies-test". (I'm not allowed to post images yet, so please bare with me.) So, the following happened:

1. Posted the mentioned link in the comment.

2. Copy the link from the comment, paste in address bar, changed (dot) to .

3. When I hit enter, i get and error from tinyurl "Error: Unable to find site's URL to redirect to.

4. I pasted the link in notepad, and I noticed it has a hyphen added, it looks like "************/acne-home-reme-dies-test" instead of "************/acne-home-remedies-test"

This wasn't happening for me 2-3 weeks ago. Happening to anyone else ? I don't rule out the option that I'm too dumb or too tired so I'm going schizo.

try using bitly or make ur own url shortner bro...

Bitly gives a warning, same thing as with tinyurl is happening with other URL shorteners like smalllinks etc. Haven't tried with own shortener. The funny thing is, everything looks cool while you paste it in a browser. I guess this is the reason lately I'm seeing comments like "There's a good product, just search for'Name of the product' on google".

your string "tinyurl(dot)com/acne-home-remedies-test" is too long, yt adds an hyphen for string of more than about 28 characters, just keep your short url less than 28 characters and you will be ok. I don't remember well if the max length of a string is 28 or 30
