weird search result (causing "omitted results")

ok, let me rephrase this problem, somehow I got this weird URL related to my website, how can I exclude it from Google? Should I use 301 redirect?

Thanks again...

Don't understand what you mean. Are you saying you are doing site:yoursite.com and getting a different site than yours?

I searched site:yoursite.com and got a single omitted result that looks like this:

Code:
http://www.domain.com/?option=com_content&view=article&id=12:why-does-joomla-15-use-utf-8-encoding&catid=31:general&Itemid=46&fontstyle=f-smaller

I never used this type of link anywhere on site...

Maybe it's a link from another site, but then it would be a nice method to stick "omitted results" on other sites...

Issue resolved, added a redirect 301 from this particular string in htaccess, well see when it goes away...

Update:

In order to remove all sorts of omitted results, I did the following:

1. join google webmaster tools (temporarily)
2. in settings -> crawl rate, I changed it to the fastest possible
3. there is a simple interface in order to remove URLs from cache & index (worked like a charm within 4-5 hours)
4. 301 redirect (to homepage) if ANY querystring is used on homepage

This morning, only one omitted result remains, will update tomorrow.

critical

I'd be more worried why it's happening than just fixing it.
