I'm a lucky owner of scrapebox and with so such good support and updates i decided to take scrapejet without any hesitation.

When i extract the zip and try to run the scrapejet.exe file i get the scrapejet in the taskbar of windows xp but when i click or unclick doesn't bring the program's window.

If i hover i see the tooltips with the program's version and stuff.

Also clicking at the same taskbar spot with the right click of the mouse doesn't bring the close, restore ... floating window as the other normal programs.

From the resource box i see it consumes something between 2-5% of the cpu but no visible window at all (didn't activate it yet, since i can't see any window)

From Firewall has all "trusted" flags, the .hosts file is clean
Net frameworks installed even it doesn't use them as they say.

Made a cold reboot, entered safe mode.... nothing
Tried to 2 VMware XP versions .... nothing

I'm run out of ideas and asking for a refund is the last of my choices since i do like the program.

I had that one too. I just got ScrapeJet yesterday. What I did was to move the entire directory to a different drive and it worked ok.

Maybe you have it on your desktop? I encountered the problem when the directory of the software was located on my desktop.

I am not sure why it is doing that though.

I fixed it with the help of the scrapebox support (irrelevant with the topic buy i love the guys there, always supportive even they have a pile of tasks to do. if they create a software to manage shit i would buy it. their continuous support and the lifetime upgrades with so many search engine modifications worth to buy scrapejet even if it didn't work at all. check to see how much the people at seo powersuite charge for the live update program which is the same thing these people do for free the last years)

Now to our subject the problem was probably from one of my software but it's not possible to tell which one. So after giving them the configuration files they suggested to roll back few versions with a download link they provided. It worked. I then update the .exe and now i'm fully operational

Thanks to the ppl reading my support topic and thanks karl.weed for your reply too
