If I type my niche keyword into google and navigate around the first 3 pages, my site is not there, but here is where it gets weird if I navigate to page 4 then go back to page 2, boom the results change and my site is there. Does anybody know why this is happening, or has anybody ever experienced this before.

thanks

Try clearing your cache and cookies and see if it does the same thing. I would have to assume its a glitch caused by your browser mixing old and new results together.

agreed with bartman rather kickflip. :D i have experienced that before i usually clear my cache and cookies and run ccleaner whenever im going to check my rankings manually.

Or you can just use incognito mode or private browsing mode to check for your results. Or just use a rank tracker software.

Are you sure you are not logged into your Google account.

I use firefox "private browsing" when checking my serps, if I'm not in "private browsing" mode my page comes up on page 2 every time and I don't have this problem.

Dutch what google domain are you using to see the serps? Are you using a local or the the international google in English?

international, the .com

seems like very unique query !! may by it's called google dancing? not sure !!

sorry for asking, but what is your location?
I have experienced issues like this and my problems were due to google find out my country and correcting my search according with my local rank. I don't know if it was my ip,or my OS or Browser languages that give me away.
You really should start using software for those checks :)

ya, I think it was just google dancing, because now that google has done their little update I no longer have this issue.

use seoserp.com to see where you're ranking, without searching it yourself on google. So you can be sure your actual ranking, not the one in your browser.
