Weird eBay Selling Pattern -- Every Other Week

So check this out.... I just started selling on eBay last month and I've noticed this weird 'every other week' selling pattern. It's almost like eBay is making my auctions not visible in search results every other week. Here is how my sales have gone in the last few weeks. Do you see a pattern? I've had my eBay account since 2001, but haven't sold much from it until now. I have 100% feedback with a 64. Any idea?

Something is definetly screwy with that. I would be bold and confront them. Imho

I always had the same thing, it lines up with payday or a few days before. I'd take a guess that 5/13 didn't pay until late 15th/early 16th when their paycheck clears.

I wouldn't worry about it. eBay does mess with the "best match" results, and you're probably quite low on those if you haven't been selling regularly, but chances are most end up sorting by "lowest price" then watching the item until payday.

I don't know. Pay periods are different for everybody. I feel like it's more like eBay wanting to see if I'm going to fulfill the orders from the week before first before having my auctions show up in search results. I may see if the pattern continues, and if so, maybe call them. I have nothing to lose I guess.

It looks like your sales went down because everyone's monthly limits reset there for you have more competition

But I did notice something with eBay

Out of my 4 months of using eBay i never had a issue with eBay manually messing with my listings BUT I did find something interesting.

I had about 5 eBay accounts and we will call the working account account A and the "messed up" one account B

Say I post a listing on account A everything will go perfect and I would sell out within 2 days.

Now if I put the SAME EXACT listing on account B the listing wont NEVER be in the top 8 but on account A it ALWAYS went to number 1.

I have had no problems with my other accounts only on account B.

I do not know what caused this just sharing my experience.
