I had a problem in the last 2 days.
while checking the apache access logs i noticed that i had a bot ( at least i think) using this user agent :
"Mozilla/4.0 (vBSEO; http://www.vbseo.com)"
I checked that website and read a little but i still have no idea why this is happening.
It just goes to my home page with different ip's. It drops 2 to 10 requests/second.
I already blocked it and redirected it to a small loop to have a little fun.
(made a small loop on 4 301 redirects to keep it busy just for the fun of it).
I would not be bothered but i don't get anything out of it except used up bandwith ( not showing on my G stats).
I already googled half of the day but i just don't get it.
My questions is :
1. Does anyone have any ideas why this behavior for a wp plugin ?
2. Should i redirect it to a spamhouse server or something similar just for the fun of it ?
