Weird Behaviour in Word Press....?

Hi all,

In my wordpress site...I changed information (contact number in the footer adjusting the php file)...but when i go to the site....it shows the old phone number (all from my home computer(S).


However, when i'm logged in using the sitename/wp-admin----the new number shows up. When i then logout...the old phone number then reappears on the site????


Is there anyway to correct this?


I my old day of using D.Weaver....this was accomplished by changing the index file.


I don't know how to correct this problem in WP (SIGH).


Anyone?

Are you using w3c total cache? Try to empty the catch.

hyper cache does this often to me. clear cache and everything should be fine

Yep, try cleaning the site's cache using a chache plugin, and empty your browser's cookies (or use another browser to see if the changes are made)

Empty only the "last hour" cache, as it will be enough.

Ok guys...

Yes...i cleared the cache before...and it did nothing. I then made a change on one of the pages...and that did the trick.

I don't know why the cache clearing did nothing for clearing the cache in the php footer file. It wasn't until i cleared the cache that i got results.

lol...yeah. I mispoke Schvamp,

And now...the changes i'm making to the pages...are not registering.....hmmm.

Not sure what to do at this point. Will have to keep playing arond with it. I switched the cache from Super Cache...to W3 Total Cache. And that didn't help either..

PS. It seems to affecting only 1 page on the site. I can't make changes to that one page....STRANGE?

Ok...sorry about the confusion.

Somehow...the page was corrupt and i deleted it. Created a new page with the same name...and copied and pasted the old info from the deleted page...and Presto. It works.

Dayum....i thought this word press stuff was 123.
