Weird behavior of Google

Hi... I'm facing the very weird behavior of Google. I have a blog with more than 300 posts with articles and reviews. The blog rank pretty very, but a few days ago I realized that a lot of the posts are indexed by Google but the content is not found when I type part of the blog post into the Google search bar. Posts are not even found when I type the title into the search bar. Nothin!

Example:

"This is my blog post and bla bla bla bla bla"
"This is my title"

So nothing is found, but site:domain.com shows all the posts. GSC does not shows any error at all. Google cache shows posts with content normally.

The site is live for 14 months now.

Any suggestion?

What does this mean?


Your site is already ranking for certain keywords?
You just can't find your content on Google when you search for phrases?

This piece of content will give you a result if you type it in the G search bar. Right? Well, not in my case!

If the blog posts are indexed doesn't mean they should be ranked for your title kw.

Optimize the content for search intent, if it is indexed give it some time for new content to pick up.

Nowadays, google is very glitchy and it's all about being patient. Just let google do its job

Did you try to search the exact URL directly into google? I am facing a similar weird issue where my site ranks on Google. but if I search them exactly with the URL; it doesn't show any results.

If the command "site:yoursite" gives all of your post results, then you shouldn't worry about anything. Google has indexed your site properly.

This however doesn't mean that the article you have written months ago, will suddenly appear within Google search based on keyword or even title query.

I wouldn't personally worry too much, as it seems your other articles rank well on Google. As a rule of thumb, on average 10% of site's content brings all the traffic, so if let's say you have 100 articles and 10 of them rank on page 1 of Google, you're already doing very well.

You can always start tweaking your titles for posts that don't appear on Google, but again if you change them, you will have to give Google time to re-index any changes. This usually takes 2-4 weeks and is not always recommended, as Google may see it as a new page and will sandbox it for another few months, so use with cautions. Minor title change shouldn't trigger anything, but changing or adding content to your post is a bit risky.
