Hey guys,
In one of my case studies ranking YT Videos, I found a weird behavior on the backlinking strategy I applied, described below:
Then I created manual backlinks to:
I blasted as well each of those blog posts, stumble link, slideshare ppt uploaded file, the tweet and the Pinterest Pin
(applied a Tier backlinking method here, to check things out).
Now what happened? For the first week the video went straight to the first page, on #1 result. And I started to see as well the other webpages I blasted ranking better each day.
Three weeks passed already of this video upload, and at this moment I can see in first page the wordpress blog post, the blogger blog post, THE TWEET! (normal?), and the BIG problem is that the video disappeared! I cannot find it anywhere from 1st to 20th page (but it is indexed if I write my channel name in the search I can find it and it is right there, living and kicking).
What happened? Was the video punished? What did I do wrong?
As far as I know I applied a simple tier backlinking method to a YT Video, and I did only 1 blast to each link described above...
I would like to hear your opinion about this, did you see this kind of behavior before?
