Im in the weight loss niche and had a autoblog for over a week now. Ive been scrapeboxing it lately (over 1K links a day) and have yet to gain visitors. Google is showing nothing and I am getting 0 traffic. What can I do to improve this? Is there something I can do with ezine or somethingf?

If weight loss is your actual niche, it's saturated and you'll be hard pressed to get customers to convert. Even more difficult if you aren't using unique content. Eventually, people will wander across your site, but won't convert as well as if you'd used a narrow niche with less competition. Think about making subtopic, true niche pages that are based on long tails.

I have a micro niche (4 words) as my domain name already and I got duplicate content.

Then ping, bookmark, comment on relevant blogs, create web 2.0 sites, etc.

Where is your site ranking at ? you need to monitor your ranking before complaining there is no visitors though.

There are somethings in your post that are potentially causing you problems...

    1. Autoblog - How familiar are you with using them and setting them up properly? If setup correctly, they are great. If not, then Google may ignore you altogether.

    2. You have been in the weight loss niche for a little over a week - This is a very competitive niche. If you have not chosen the proper keywords, it will be hard to see results very fast.

    3. Over 1000 links a day - And from Scrapebox. If this is new domain and you are just throwing over 1K links per day at it, then there's a chance you have given Google a good reason to ignore you. Also, are you sure your links are getting approved? If you are good with Scrapebox, then they probably are, but that leaves the problem of you throwing tons of links at your domain in such a short period of time.

    4. "Is there something I can do with ezine or something..." - Ezine articles should be one of the 1st places to get some traffic from. The take a typically few days now to accept articles and even longer if you are not a consistent contributing member. When accepted, you can get a lot of traffic just from the site itself, and if you did your KW research properly, you can get your article ranked in Google as well.

I'm going to try the ezine method. Is there a guide around here explaining where to exactly insert your URL(s)?

    Wow....

How did you decide to go after a niche as competitive as the weight loss niche without even knowing how to do something as basic as article marketing?

I'm not trying to be rude, but the players in your niche are guys that don't mess around. They will eat you alive if you aren't prepared.

Give it time you are a week into the game competing against established sites in the same niche. Not to mention you are in a highly competitive niche to begin with. Consistency is key.

Can you guys implement a "Like" or "Agree" button?

I think the most competitive niches are probably somewhere in this order..

    1.Finance/Loans
    2.Gambling
    3.Health
    4.Porn

Doesn't mean you can't make money off it, just means the bar will be set pretty high. But then again I don't really have all the information about your campaign.

Even though you guys say im in a competitive niche and such, I am focusing on a micro niche w/ 60 SEOT, 65K SEOC and 37% PBR. How would a big niche affect me If I am in the micro niche zone?

I think the best way is to combine your autoblog content with some unique content. Submit unique articles to EZA (ezinearticles.com) as well, and make sure that the links in your authors biography points to the unique articles in your blog/site.

I have good results with this technique.

I do have a blog related to diet but I still managed to earn few $$$ in Adsense. You just need to target long term keywords if you want to earn few bucks.

0 traffic is impossible. There's something certainly wrong with your tracking system.
If you're building 1k links a day, at least 1 person would have stumbled across your website, if not through organic search, definitely through one of the thousand backlinks.

So if I have a unique post on "best weight loss diet" on my blog and make a article on ezine on "Top ranked weight loss diet", I should link to the unique article on my blog instead of linking it directly to the domain name?

What difference does it make if its my domain or the page? Does google treat each page differently as a PR?

You shouldn't be throwing everything at your main domain.

Google loves deep linking, and it works very well.

You should also use the same KW in your article as the KW for the page it points to.
