How many of you dealing with clients get these kinds of weekends?
I've literally had people email me Friday 11pm my time and then chase me 6 hours later then on the weekend for a reply.
Make it clear on your sales / contact page that support is Mon-Fri 9 to 15 hours.
After you make it clear for the client that the institution (not you, your business) is unable to reply on weekends, it's fine. Customers will not drop you for a competitor on friday night.
What's a weekend?
Can't say how many times I've sat on a Saturday having a beer and thought thank God for whoever invented weekends.
Whoever thought of 2 days rest x 5 days work is a genius. It's a perfect system.
I learned this from a skilled businessman when I was around 19 years old. My business was just a baby back then, I went to visit his HQ often and he'd say no matter what you do, no matter how successful you are, take profits often and take time for yourself, don't just pile money up and destroy yourself without enjoying the money. He'd say don't waste your weekends on work. He was rich AF and had all the awesome cars and houses. He owned the first internet ISP in my region and consulted with me on a bunch of tech stuff.
I take that to heart. I always take profits, even in crisis, and enjoy weekends. It's kept me sane so far.
Starts at 23.58 Friday and ends 00.05 Saturday to some people.
LOL
Make it policy mate. Put it expressly on your site, Friday 9 to 17 hours.
Turn off email notifications, whatsapp and telegram notifications on weekend.
bro. This has literally been my life for the past 5 days.
Shit makes me want to start selling courses.
This is something every business has to go through.
Markets are now 24x7. If you don't establish policy, you'll get burned.
I learned this before the internet was a popular thing.
