Wechat activation

Hi guys! I just installed Wechat, but I ran into a problem that I need to activate this app. This can be done by a user who has been using the app for 6 months. Please let me know if this is how it should be or did I do something wrong? Is there any solution on how to activate this app? Thanks for your replies in advance!
