I want to start writing articles but i'm not sure where i should publish them? I am going to write 500 articles over the next two months, hoping to make 25 cents per article per day. Hopefully more. What is a good site that would help me reach my goal? Would i be better off just starting my own blogger? The articles will be how tos.

If you are going to go into the " How - to " niche, the following plan may work for you:

    1. Pay Per View - The first 10 articles you write should go on networks like Yahoo ( your paid per view ) or Hubpages. Both sites have an influx of daily viewers and this allows you to list them on your portfolio ( getting paid each time someone reads your work even if you presented it to display your writing skills).

    2. Niche Sites - There are a plethora of sites that place a call for articles paying over $10 per article, yet give you full credit. Utilize these sites by placing 10 - 20 articles on varying sites/ blogs of this caliber. You will be able to backlink the work in your portfolio, your paid upfront or upon acceptance and you get your name out there as an an expert in the varying topics you've provided content in. ( Example : If you are writing an How To article on hacking - place it on a site offering a decent upfront payment for the content and allowing you to have credit. You can then discuss if you are able to generate income from the traffic to the content, if not, that's fine, you can always rewrite the content from a different view on your own site but using the published content for a portfolio for potential clients).

    3. Portfolio - Utilize sites that allow you to create a free content portfolio such as Contently. You can place the links to all the content you've published in one place, creating the perfect resume for potential clients, allowing you to focus on mass producing more quality content.

    4. Apply! - Since your centering around How To content I would suggest applying for Demand Studios. You are able to generate atleast $15 per article. If you are seeking a way to just get paid for the content this is the best option because it opens the doors for more income down the line.

If you want to generate the income with no other companies involved:

    Follow steps 1 -3 then:

    1. Create a site, separating the How - To content into categories like Ehow.

    2. CPA is effective but you may find adsense or like sites more effective. You have to have an audience so I would suggest the following: Try taking some time each day to locate forums, answer sites or blogs that discuss each category of your site. Offer a quick response to comments associated with any article on your site and place a back link. You may find it easier to sub contract this type of assignment out through sites like Shorttask for 0.04 per link back to your site. You can use the income from Yahoo to pay for this task to be completed.

    Other Ideas:

    1. Instead of mass producing so much content at one time with the hopes that it will make that much money why not split your time. Try writing content for your How - To site and writing for a content/ media company. You should generate about $5 - 20 per article if you write for the right media company and the articles you produce for your own site will generate effortless income if you wanted to simply publish them on a singular site. If you can write 20 articles a day : write 5 for a media company, write 5 for private clients and write 10 for your own site.

    2. It's easy to aspire to just create a massive amount of content and the prospect of unlimited viewers but that doesn't happen overnight. Try using any additional income generated from writing for private clients to fund advertising. Once you've created your massive site of How To articles, you should have some money put to the side to pay for advertising through sites like Google or Bing.

I'm confident you can make more than 25 cents per article just make sure you have a back up plan.

Great post Entrepreneurcure, but I think the op meant he is looking to earn 0.25$ from each article per day. So I would guess he wants to create something sustainable on a third party site (I might be wrong).

I wrote a few articles for Hubpages and made like $9 or something. It wasn't great, but if you're a quality writer you're going to make a lot more than your 25 cents goal (just remember there's a $100 withdrawal minimum).

If that is so marl09, then that's a very good news to PhoneCharger. It might be the best if you tell PhoneCharger about the site that allows for such or tell PhoneCharger if its better for him/her to just have his/her own blog; or perhaps tell PhoneCharger about the things he/she can do to be bale to create articles worth $3 to $10. :)

Yeah but 25 cents per day per article. He's not looking to sell the rights to the articles that he's writing. He wishes to monetize them. 500 articles at 25 cents a day is 125/day. I'm assuming he could just make a blog himself and get approved to Adsense, the content would create traffic and generate money through PPC and that's about as much as I can say about this. If OP is from America he can probably give Yahoo Voices a try to, and do the residual payment instead of upfront, but I think it's important for him to make a website of his own.

I'd be down for that, but you'd have to make me a down payment for the entire year. Send me 45,625 and I'll write you your 500 articles.

Pick a Niche. Research Keywords In The Niche - Get A List Of 500 Profitable Keywords With Low Competition, Enough Search Volume To Be Worth Your Time - Make An Authority Site In The Niche By Writing Those 500 Articles And Drip Feeding Them For A Year And A Half (Publish 2 A Day LoL) - Sell The Site For Your $50k.

Honestly you should just start a content creation service and sell articles IMO. You might not be getting $91.25 per year per article, but you can make some decent cash if you are hand writing at a speed of 500 articles in 2 months...30k a year if you're selling them $10.00 each.

The Entrepreneurcure laid out the groundwork for a great plan if you're dealing with content in those quantities. Writing part time for one site, and selling articles on the side gives you a mix of both a long term goal and a steady income.

So at the end of the 2 month you want to reach 125$ daily. actually it looks not so hard but still not so easy. it all depends on your writing skill. i think dont give it up, maybe .25 is faw but .10 is still good

    500 quarters is $125 in 60 days

    $125/4 is 31.25 articles(32..)

Why not try fiverr. Sell 1000 word articles for $4...much better than your plan.

Look at all these fools telling you to write articles for other people or fiverr.

Haha, if you stick with it, you are going to make thousands of dollars a year while sipping on a drink on the beach doing nothing. Meanwhile, they will still be typing away for someone else.

Yeah no kidding...they'd rather have instant gratification. They want a chocolate bar for their work instead of a thousand at the end of the year.

Residual income is the whole point of internet marketing, and I can fully understand OP's wish for 25 cents/day for his articles.

If someone knows such site, I would be interested in it too. I mean - even if I can make 0.10-0.20$ per article per day, that would be awesome.
