I'm trying to rank some local keywords where competition seems to be very low according to semrush.

I'd like to create some backlinks for them and I need websites that allow people to publish articles for free with less hassle.

So guys, please share some here, highly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing but this is not what I'm looking for.
I tried to contact the first 2 sites on the list for a guest post and I got an answer saying they want $50 for a guest post.
What I'm looking for are FREE sites; maybe something like medium.com, essaypub.com and the likes
 
When looking for sites like these make sure they don't have major drops in the past becuase you you don't want bad link transfer on your site that results in traffic drop.

you can try web 2.0, many members here share new web 2.0 lists, just you search button on top right
 
Websites that allow for free are useless. They are already spammed so an incoming link from such a website on your website will do more harm then good.

Your competitors who try to get their backlinks from where they got them will get it for free
 
It’s definitely possible to build quality backlinks on free platforms, but you need to be selective to avoid spammy sites. If you want some tips, feel free to DM me.
 
Then you can try to post on all the social networks and search for PRs it will be useful for you

Guest posts you cant get anything free everyone will charge a minimum cost nowadays
 
To build backlinks for low-competition local keywords, try using sites like Medium and LinkedIn Articles for free posting, while local business directories and forums are also useful for easy link-building.

There are problems with platforms like medium also now because many people abused them.
 
There are plenty of free Web 2.0 sites, directories, and bookmarking platforms available on the internet, but we can't guarantee indexing. If you're willing to invest time, you can try free signup sites; however, there’s no guarantee that they will provide do-follow links or indexing.
 
Try platforms like WordPress.com and Blogger. They're free and easy to publish on. You can also share content on Reddit and Quora. Good luck.
