    Hey guys,

I have couple of websites that are slightly over a month old, all hosted on different A/C class IPs. I have been having some success building PBN links (also hosted on completely different A class IPs) and SER (GSA) links to it.

However, since past 4-5 days, I've seen them drop by a few positions. It's not a penalty for sure. For example, if the position was 14, it got bumped to 24, 23 to 32 and so on. Anyone experiencing similar thing? Or if am I just the only one? I was wondering what to do, throw in some more PBN links or what? I am also building manual Web 2.0s now for each of the website.

Would appreciate your thoughts on what you guys think.

    Thanks.

Some people just out ranked you or google is adjusting correct position for you.. Keep building links and you might again rise ;)

    Good Luck

I've noticed some dancing lately on a few of my sites (Movements within 2-3 positions) but with your site being this new it's still in the "Honey Moon" phase so such sudden movement is expected.

Thanks guys. Yeah, could be so (honeymoon or dance as they say, ha). Looking for more input from other people as well if possible to see if this has been happening with them.

Some level of movement is always to be expected, especially since Google is constantly rolling out new updates, sometimes without announcing it.

As per ranking, backlinks and age of websites it 99% dancing, just one suggestion: build the links gradually.

Yes one of my sites for a local business and local search some days drops to page 10, then page 5 and lost the steady google local maps. Was solid there for about 3 search phrases but now only shows for one search phrase. The site hovered around page 3, My site was always mobile friendly and competition not real stiff. Hours of getting frustrated lately with that site and another ended me here.

Happened to one of my local business sites too. I'm isolating it to dropping from main page of link farms hence losing some link juice as the PR of these link farms are always on the first page. Been building tier2s and tier3s and rankings have been pretty stable.

I see, so I am not the only one. My sites aren't local or business related though. I could not attest it to penalty of any sort, since they are just a month old. I've been also not very heavy on building links. Mix of GSA SER + PBN + Web 2.0 recently.

A few of them are showing some improvement and climbing again. Like I said, they were not anything severely affected but moving down by 10-15 positions as they were still adjusting and steadily climbing up on SERPs being just a month old.

Let's see where the next few days gets us. I'll post an update here and you guys let us know as well if you notice any improvement or changes.

Edit: I must also say that yes, few terms (keywords) are affected more than others while others haven't seen much drop, or hardly any.
