May be people want immediate profit rather than waiting for profits to credit in their bank balance each month. That's why they are selling the websites to carry on and create another website to sell.

This is understandable, because a month is a while.
 
it's not dead it takes effort and time to keep ranking in SERPs
 
no dead, people that might had problems reaching their goals, not enought time, they got hit by an update, having a low season and decided to move on and many more reasons but no, is not dead.
 
No not true at all, but things are changing as always you just need to adjust and stay on updated and learn about new things and changes, build your business to be sustainable is the beste way to invest your money and time.
 
generic content websites are dead, Specialized content/informational websites are fine and in a good spot right now. Other types of websites are generally untouched. But for how long? AGI will rip us a new one and we will be eroded away over the next few years. Not to say there wont be more opportunities. It does feel like we're on a ticking countdown now though.
