I recently discovered very profitable niche & keywords to rank for. Keysearch shows around 24 difficulty, Ahrefs around 25 for most keywords.
But for all keywords, the website with DA only 1, outranks every other website with more authority. (all targeting those keywords)

I check backlinks manually and this website mostly has only directory backlinks...
Is it possible that the author hides its backlinks?

What's the best way to outrank this website? Considering it must be powerful, since more authority websites are below it.

Thanks

DA is only 1 aspect, what's the PA too ?

Ahrefs KD 25 is not that easy, but not impossible.

What's the other sites like for on page ?

PA is 1 as well. I talked to Luka from Aurarank and he told me they've outranked much more difficult stuff. But I just want to get y'all opinions and experiences with that

I think any half decent seo would be able to outrank PA1, DA1 with poor onpage.

Hmm but you know that's why it's weird, how can a website like this outrank other websites wit DA & PA 25+
MOZ Onpage Grader shows 88 score for this website

Talk this is a rule, DA 1, PA 1 and outranking many competitors then this domain is powered by hidden PBNs or 301 redirect from a strong domain.

There's no other solution imo.

he is using PBNs. Try to search for his website in google "website.com" if he uses naked urls or brand name it will be easy to find his PBN.

It's probably PBNs. I usually wait until my PA/DA is around 20, and then block MOZ etc, just to mess a bit with competition :)

Anyway, do a google search for this:
"website.com" -site:website.com

It will show you most of the links and mentions. You may also add some more terms to the search, to try and get all indexed backlinks.

What I don't understand is why would anyone rely on Moz metrics to determinate ANYTHING. Their index is extremely bad - usually under 10% of the real number of links and damn slow to update even them.
