I came to a discussion which was about app growth. then I wonder what to choose for a tech startup for the common non-tech audience. One should build an app or website. I think website is worth less now days as compared to apps.

In today's digital landscape, when considering a tech startup for a common non-tech audience, building an app often holds more value than creating a website. Mobile apps have become increasingly popular and offer a range of advantages. They provide a more interactive and immersive user experience, leverage device features like push notifications and location services, and offer offline access. Moreover, apps can be easily downloaded and accessed directly from users' smartphones, making them more convenient and accessible. With the growing dependence on mobile devices, investing in an app for a tech startup can help capture the attention and engagement of the target audience more effectively.

Go for app, this question I ask myself for a years, and final answer is app.
web seems like to hold as an brand only now a day. I still use web because it come to me first, and everything came at first always have place on heart, but it the fact.

Create a decent website and then branch off into an app
You can do SEO for websites. Getting users for apps is different.
