I need to track my visitors who click on my client websites. I've heard of "crazyegg" and I'm thinking of using their services. Any other alternatives?

Please don't use Google analytics, use Statcounter, or Awstats, Gostats, or one of the other hundreds...

There are plenty of others that can do this and quite possibly more, this list is just a few out there. (even G's analytics has an overlay feature)

Check out RobotReplay, ClickTale, TeaLeaf, Clicky (getclicky), Clickdensity, ClickHeat, FuseStats, Feng-Gui (even has FF plug!), Mint (aka haveamint) and Phpmyvisites (open source!)

If you still need other options just let me know- and once you find something please reply so everyone will know what works best for you, if any.

Enjoy!

Why shouldn't I use Google Analytics??

I'm probably gonna go with Crazy Egg... $9 / month is pretty cheap for the basic

you can use this one also https://matomo.org/docs/ecommerce-analytics/

I use google analytics and serpbook for awesome looking client reports
