Website Sign up with Chat ( like twitch )

Hey quick question for you guys;


I have a website im developing. very simple. Basically only a landing page but I need there to be a sign up and chat box. Preferably people could sign up and chat with eachother while they watch the live event.

I'm quite new to website building only done basic small business stuff.

Is this realistic with a plugin or some coding? I don't have much of a budget for this. preferably do it myself. Also what about hosting and server speeds? Will I need to pay a lot extra to host a website that c an handle a live chat experience?
