Website Review - convertmyunits.com [Feedback Appreciated]

Hi All,

I would be grateful if I could get some feedback on my website convertmyunits.com.
It is a website that does unit conversions somewhat like how google does it by parsing input like you would type in normally.
Once the website is loaded all conversions are done offline.

The website allows a user to input a unit and it does automatic conversions for the most well know units.

200pounds == 90.719 kilograms , 14 stone 4 pounds

5ft 9 1/4' == 2.064 metres , 2.257 yards , 81.25 inches

You can specify a specific conversion

10mph to m/s == 4.47 metres / second

Additionally, you can do things like time addition and subtraction which google doesn't provide
6:25:56am + 4h 23min 54s == 10:49:50am

I hope to appify it at some stage but in the mean time I would like a review of the site please.

One thing I am cognizant of is the fact that a first time user is presented with a blank input screen and it could be off putting with out guidance..

I think it is a very simple and powerful site to use but for first time users I am not so sure.
Maybe you could give me some feedback with respect to how I show first time users how to user it.

I am currently getting hardly any users and I know nothing about marketing a website.
I would apprectiate SEO / marketing suggestions to increase usage of the website.

You shouldn't post your website URL on here - someone might point some low quality links at it "for fun" and damage it. You might want to ask a mod to delete your post.

Whats your unique selling point? Why use your site, rather than Google? For conversions I just use Google.

To be frank the design is pretty ugly. Plus, I don't even understand what it does. All I see is a big white page with a big input which does nothing when I type..

Sorry I don't understand what you mean by not linking to my website. How else could you review it then? Also what do you mean by pointing low quality links?
