Website Redirects

I was browsing around the web and I came across this black hat approach from from a company

I was search weed delivery ajax and this came up
When I click the link it instantly redirects me
Link - https://thetweedsmuirtavern.com/purchase_marijuana_ajax/
Redirect - https://herbandpot.com/shop-online/
Actual site - https://herbapproach.com/

Another site also did this :

Does anyone know how this is done
They have the meta and titles and everything (how is this possible)
Would love input and is this safe?

My guess is a backdoor to the original sites, where they (somehow) index a redirect link. Maybe publishing a post on that URL, and once indexed > redirect it.

Are the hacked sites Wordpress?

Sites are normal sites - not sure what hacked wordpress sites means

its simple , they first make post and get indexed after that 301 Redirect
